Exciting News: Micro-Credentials on Educating for Sustainability in Partnership with the International Baccalaureate! 🌍

We are thrilled to announce a brand-new collaboration with the International Baccalaureate (IB) to develop 4 Micro-credentials and 10 Micro-learning Modules focused on educating for sustainability! The first three Micro-credentials are already live and ready to access!

Here’s a sneak peek into what they cover:

Learn how to design opportunities for students to teach others about the importance of recognizing and protecting the commons (the places and things we share, that we all depend on, and are responsible for) locally and globally.

Learn how to design learning experiences to help students reframe the thinking patterns that sustain unsustainable behaviors.

Learn how to leverage diverse perspectives to enrich students' understanding of biodiversity.

Our fourth Micro-credential, β€œUnpacking Education for Sustainability,” will soon be available. It focuses on helping educators unpack the EfS enduring understandings, standards, and performance indicators. It also assists teachers in designing an assessment for/as learning that evidences student learning of one EfS performance indicator.

These Micro-credentials are for everyone! Although they were developed in partnership with IB, they are open to all educators. Each Micro-credential is an independent learning experience, but together they create a powerful toolkit for sustainability education.

We are so excited to share this collection with our community! If you are an educator looking to engage your students with sustainability, this is a perfect place to start.
