Sustainable Jersey for Schools is a certification program for New Jersey Public Schools that want to go green, conserve resources and take steps to create a brighter future - one school at a time. The Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education is a Task Force Member (Student Learning, Curriculum Mapping, and Leadership and Capacity Building), Advisor and Service Provider to Sustainable Jersey for Schools. Getting certified isn't difficult at all. We can schedule a few virtual sessions to help you get the points you need to get certified.

April 26th - 28th 2020

The 2020 Sustainability Symposium aims to inspire change and ignite souls. Utilizing the Sustainable Development Goals, school communities will be invited to attend different events offering sustainability learning experiences addressing a whole-school approach to behavior change. Teacher Professional Development | International expert Jaimie Cloud will present a 3 hours introduction to education for sustainability course for teachers, HOCs and educational program developers. She has curated and edited Educating for a Sustainable Future: Benchmarks for Individual and Social Learning, authored The Cloud Institute’s EfS Framework, and several peer-reviewed journal chapters and articles on Sustainability and the significance of Education for Sustainability. Jaimie is leadership adviser, curriculum development coach and program mentor to individuals around the country and in other parts of the world.
