Jaimie founded the Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education more than 30 years ago and has been leading it since then. As a pioneer in the field of Education for Sustainability (EfS) Jaimie is an international keynote speaker, author, thought leader and educational consultant. Jaimie writes and publishes extensively, and is a leadership advisor and curriculum development coach to administrators, teachers and curriculum specialists in schools and school districts, governments and civic organizations, and corporations around the country and in other parts of the world. Jaimie’s new book is entitled, Response-able: How to Live Well Over Time on Planet Earth. It is written for young people and all those who love them.

Yagmur holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Liberal Studies from New York University, with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. She is a certified Earth Charter Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) educator and a United Nations Millennium Fellow.

Passionate about transformative education, sustainability, and ecology, Yagmur supports the Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education’s mission to prepare young people for the shift toward a sustainable future through coordination, operations, and partnerships.
