Young Voices, Big Ideas: Our First Response-Able Podcast Episode Is Here!
What does it mean to live well over time on Planet Earth? How do our mental models shape the way we understand the world around us? And what kind of future do young people envision?
These are some of the questions explored in the first of two conversations with young people inspired by Jaimie P. Cloud’s book, Response-Able: How to Live Well Over Time on Planet Earth.
Hosted by Jaimie and Rosemarie Desmarais, Program Specialist at the Cloud Institute, this first episode features Adam Khan, Annabelle Blau, and Aarohi Gupta.
Together, they reflect on their experiences reading the book and explore ideas such as mental models, the commons, science literacy, and compelling purpose. They also share their own questions and visions for the future, offering perspectives on what being response-able might look like in their lives and communities.
We are grateful to Adam, Annabelle, and Aarohi for sharing their thoughtful questions, reflections, and ideas with us.
This is the first of two conversations with young people inspired by Response-Able. Stay tuned for the second episode, featuring more young voices and perspectives.
