Sustainability in Conservation Education with The UCLA/Getty Program

I just finished working on a project with The UCLA/Getty Program in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, entitled, “Embedding Education for Sustainability in Cultural Heritage Conservation Education”. The Getty Program received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEH) to implement the initiative because conservators and preservation specialists are in a timely and critical position to be global leaders in sustainability.

Rosemarie's Journey in Uganda: A Story of Sustainability in the Nakivale Refugee Camp

Last fall, Rosemarie, our program specialist, travelled to Uganda to deliver a series of workshops on sustainability education.

During her visit, she worked alongside educators, community members, and youth leaders who are actively shaping the future of their communities. Highlights on the Student Kitchen

The Student Kitchen is a nonprofit focused on culinary education for New York City middle and high school students. The goal of the program is to equip students with the confidence and the skills to cook for themselves and families, make healthy choices, and better understand where their food comes from. Through live demos and workshops, The Student Kitchen works hands on with participants at their schools and in their communities. They also assist with mutual aid efforts and community projects.
